Open a gate with Siri, Apple Shortcuts, Carplay, Android Auto
Siri
You can use Siri to open any gate you have access to through a reservation.
Just say one of these phrases to Siri! Note: You can also use "door" instead of "gate" in most cases.
If you use Parkade at one location and have access to one gate:
"Open my Parkade gate"
"Open the Parkade gate"
"Open Parkade gate"
If you use Parkade at one location and have access to multiple gates:
"Open the (gate name) gate with Parkade"
Example: "Open the Level 1 gate with Parkade"
"Open (gate name) gate with Parkade"
If you use Parkade at multiple locations:
"Open my (parking lot name) gate with Parkade"
Example: "Open my Main Street Lofts gate with Parkade"
"Open the (parking lot name) gate with Parkade"
"Open (parking lot name) gate with Parkade"
If you have access to multiple gates in multiple lots, Siri will ask you some questions, such as which lot or which gate.
Apple Shortcuts
You can create a shortcut in the Shortcuts app to open a gate at Parkade.
When creating a shortcut, just search for "Parkade" or "Open gate" to find the "Open gate" action.
When you use the shortcut, if you have access to multiple gates or lots, you'll be asked to first select a lot and then the gate you want to open.
If you have an iPhone model with an Action button, you can set the action button to run the shortcut you made, letting you open your gate by just pressing the Action button.
Carplay and Android Auto
Support for opening gates through Carplay and Android Auto will be coming soon!
