How to set your spot's price
For all hosted spots, there are default amounts in place for hourly, daily, and monthly pricing.
We also give you the option to use Simple Pricing, which lets you edit just the hourly price, and then we automatically calculate the other prices, setting them at a 40% discount for the daily price and ~25% discount for the monthly price.
If you'd rather control all three separately, you can turn Simple Pricing off.
The higher you set your price, the more you'll make per reservation. However, your spot may not be reserved frequently. Lower prices will make less per rental, but your spot may get rented more often!
Be aware that at some lots there are minimum or maximum prices. If you try to set a price outside of those limits, you'll see a message in the app that tells you what that limit is.
To set the price for a spot:
Tap Host.
Tap Spots.
Tap a spot.
If you're using Simple Pricing, leave the Simple Pricing toggle on, and tap the price per hour to edit it.
If you're not using Simple Pricing, make sure the Simple Pricing toggle is off, and then tap either the hourly, daily, or monthly price to edit each.
When you edit any price, we'll show a few amounts to select from, or you can tap Other to set any price, as shown here:
You can see how to disable Simple Pricing and then choose pre-set options or custom pricing here:
The prices you set are only used when someone searches for parking and reserves a spot that you had made available. If you receive a "request for parking" from someone (because no spots were available at all for them to book), they select a price as part of their request.
