We understand that sometimes situations present themselves that inhibit your ability to pay on time. In situations where we are unable to collect the payment for your long-term parking spot, we provide you a few days of leeway as a courtesy.

We will attempt to contact you, but please remember it is your responsibility to pay for your parking spot on time. Failure to pay for your parking spot may result in termination of your parking lease, and a loss of your ability to park at your building.

Please note that Parkade staff is unable to extend or modify this courtesy window.

Payments by card

If you pay via credit/debit card or Apple Pay for your reservation, we must receive payment for your spot within 7 days (168 hours) of the original date/time your monthly payment was due.

For example: If your monthly parking payment is due November 1 but you are unable to make the payment that day, you will have until November 8 to remit payment for your spot.

Late Fees/Penalties for payments by card

There are no penalties or late fees for late parking payments made by credit/debit card or Apple Pay, provided payment is received within the courtesy window.

If your monthly parking spot is canceled due to non-payment, your vehicle will be subject to enforcement action, including fining and/or towing. Please be aware that in order to make a new monthly reservation after a spot has been canceled:

  1. You will need to pay for any past due amounts for your parking spot

  2. You may be subject to a fee of up to 10% the monthly payment amount, with a minimum of $15

  3. You may be reassigned to a new space based on availability, or placed on a waitlist for a spot

Payments by bank account/ACH

If you pay via bank account/ACH for your parking spot, the late payment process is different. Due to the nature of bank payments, it may take up to 4 business days until we first receive notice that your parking payment has failed.

If your payment fails, we will automatically contact you. You must reattempt payment via your bank account, or pay for your spot via credit/debit card or Apple Pay within the next 3 days after this notice is provided.

If you do not resubmit payment within the app, or pay for your spot with another method within 3 days, your spot will be automatically canceled. If you resubmit payment via bank account again, but the second attempt fails as well, your space will be automatically canceled.

For example: If your monthly parking payment is due on November 1 your bank account will automatically be debited. If 4 business days later (assuming November 5 is 4 business laters in this case) we receive notice that payment has failed, you will have 3 calendar days to retry payment (November 8).

If you retry payment via ACH on November 8, but we receive notice 4 business days later (November 12-13) that the second attempt has failed, your parking spot will automatically cancel.

Late Fees/Penalties for payments by bank account

Failed bank account/ACH payments are subject to fees. Failed bank account/ACH payments will result in a penalty fee of up to $15 per occurrence.

If you have concerns about payments for your spot reservation, please be sure to contact us immediately. In many cases we can work with you to set up a plan of action to get your bill paid, but we need to hear from you!
