Flexible end date vs. fixed end date parking reservations

Edited

There are two types of parking reservations we may offer at properties: flexible end date and firm end date.

Flexible End Date

Flexible end date reservations are the classic Parkade experience:

  • Search for and make an open-ended reservation.

  • Cancel the spot when it's no longer needed, and receive a prorated refund based on the end time.

  • Freely switch parking spots by canceling your reservation and creating a new one.

These types of reservations are best when you're not sure about your parking situation — such as when you're considering selling your car, or if you only need parking for a couple of months.

These types of reservations are typically more expensive to account for the additional flexibility offered.

Firm End Date

Firm end date reservations are similar to the standard apartment parking spot rental experience:

  • Choose a parking space from the list of available options.

  • Choose an end date for your reservation in advance (usually your apartment lease end date, but this can vary).

  • If you want to switch spots, you’ll need to contact Parkade, and you’ll be charged a processing fee.
