Supported Payment Methods

Parkade supports payments via credit/debit card, Apple Pay and bank account (also called ACH). In the web booking flow, we also support Google Pay. Unfortunately we do not currently support Google Pay in the app.

Your financial information is of the utmost importance to us, and we take the protection of your payment information, including your bank account, seriously.

Payment information is stored with Stripe, and never on Parkade's side. Stripe is trusted by major corporations world wide with financial information, and your data is securely stored on US-based servers. You can read more about Stripe's security policies here: https://docs.stripe.com/security.

Adding a bank account is done in the same section of the Parkade app (Account → Payment Methods). Just tap "add bank account" to get started! You are able to choose two different ways to connect your bank account:

Instant verification links your bank account to Parkade by using your banking credentials. Remember, this information is never stored on Parkade's servers. The instant verification process is owned by Stripe, who uses the information provided to securely connect your bank account to use for payments to Parkade.

To use the instant verification method, just tap Confirm when asked if you would like to connect your account, then find your bank in the list of options. Once you select your bank, you will be taken to their secure login portal to provide your credentials.

If you don't see your bank in the list of options, or if you would prefer to not provide your login credentials, you can instead use microdeposit verification

Microdeposit verification is done through Stripe in a different process. In this case, you provide some basic information about your bank account in the app, and then you manually verify it instead!

To start this process, tap "verify manually instead" beneath the Confirm button after pressing "add bank account." You will need to provide:

• The full name on the account in question

• The routing number of your account

• The account number of your account

After you press submit, you will need to wait for Stripe to send these microdeposits. These are small amounts of money (like $0.01 - $0.02) that will be deposited and then withdrawn from your account. This usually takes between 1-3 business days to process.

Once you receive those microdeposits, you will need to verify them in the app by clicking on Account → Payment methods. Your bank account should be listed with a "pending" tag. Tap your bank account, then tap "Verify."

You will need to find the 4 letter/number code that was provided with your microdeposits. You can find this in the satement description for the microdeposit itself, and usually looks like "SMXXXX" (where XXXX is the code you will use). Take that code and enter it in the app, and provided it matches, you'll be all set!

If you receive an error like "microdeposits have been blocked" or other error when trying to connect your bank account, please reach out to our team at hello@parkade.com.

Payments made by credit/debit card, or Apple/Google Pay will incur a 3% service fee. To avoid this fee in the app, you can use your linked bank account!

Unfortunately, reservations made by web do not currently support payment via bank account.
