What happens when someone stays beyond the end of their reservation?

Edited

General Policies

Per Parkade's Terms of Service and our Community Standards, renters should vacate the parking spot they've rented by the end time of the reservation. For example, if the reservation ends at 9 a.m., the spot should be empty by no later than 9 a.m.. This helps ensure the next person who uses the spot will find it available.

Parkade sends notifications to renters 15 minutes before the end of the reservation, as a reminder that the reservation is coming to an end. If renters need more time, they can book additional time if the spot is still available. If the spot isn’t available, the renter must vacate the spot and can rent a different spot.

Enforcement

If someone rents a spot and does not vacate it by the end time of their reservation, or parks in a spot without renting it, they may be subject to penalty fees and/or towing, depending on the building's enforcement policies.

If you are a spot owner and someone who rented your spot stays beyond the end of their reservation, or if you rent a spot and there is a vehicle in the spot during your reserved time, please use the Parkade app to report it to us directly. You can read more about how to do that in this Help Center article.

If someone reports a problem with a parking spot, our app will automatically direct them to a new spot, if available.
