What happens after I report someone parked in my spot?

Edited

When you report  a vehicle is parked in a spot you have reserved, we typically take a couple of actions:

If the vehicle is registered with us:

  • We immediately contact the owner, and typically issue them a penalty fee for unauthorized parking.

  • We give the owner a chance to move their vehicle — we do this to avoid towing residents’ vehicles when possible.

  • If the unauthorized vehicle is still there within an hour you can contact us again and we will take additional action.

  • We may also tow repeat offenders, if they do not heed our penalty fees or warnings.

If the vehicle is not registered with us:

  • Depending on your building's policies, we may request the vehicle to be towed or forward that request to your building manager.

  • When a tow is requested, we cannot guarantee how soon a tow truck will arrive, but our towing partners typically arrive quickly. For security purposes, residents are not authorized to request tows themselves.
