What happens after I report someone parked in my spot?
When you report a vehicle is parked in a spot you have reserved, we typically take a couple of actions:
If the vehicle is registered with us:
We immediately contact the owner, and typically issue them a penalty fee for unauthorized parking.
We give the owner a chance to move their vehicle — we do this to avoid towing residents’ vehicles when possible.
If the unauthorized vehicle is still there within an hour you can contact us again and we will take additional action.
We may also tow repeat offenders, if they do not heed our penalty fees or warnings.
If the vehicle is not registered with us:
Depending on your building's policies, we may request the vehicle to be towed or forward that request to your building manager.
When a tow is requested, we cannot guarantee how soon a tow truck will arrive, but our towing partners typically arrive quickly. For security purposes, residents are not authorized to request tows themselves.
