I changed my default payment method, but a different one was charged.
When you select a new payment method as default in the Payment Methods section, that only makes it default for all new reservations.
If an existing monthly reservation was then charged to a different payment method, that means you did not update the payment method associated with that reservation.
For every reservation you make, you'll select a payment method to use for it. It will be linked to that reservation and will be used to pay for that reservation even if you add a new default payment method.
If you want to pay for an existing monthly reservation with a new payment method, you must select that new payment method for the reservation. Here's how to do that:
Tap Park.
At the top of the screen, tap on your monthly spot.
Scroll down in the details screen to Payment.
Tap on the payment method there.
Select a different payment method (or add it if you haven't already).
Tap OK.
In situations like this, we won't be able to refund any fees associated with the previous payment method that was charged. As long as you see that new payment method selected for your reservation, rest assured that all future charges will be made to it.
